CSEET 2022

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has replaced its foundation course for the admission to CS Executive programme with CS Executive Entrance Test – CSEET. This is an online entrance test conducted by ICSI for direct admissions of applicants aspiring to get admission to CS Executive.

This is an online multiple choice entrance test conducted four times in a year, mostly, in January, May, July and November. This is a national level entrance examinations allowed to be attempted from home, due to Covid constraints. Originally it is supposed conducted from centres.

The language of examination is English and multiple choice questions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CSEET

1. A candidate must be either appearing for or appeared  for senior secondary examination (10+2) or any equivalent qualifying examinations.

2. Indian nationals only can apply for CSEET.

3. The candidate who is appearing for senior secondary classes also can apply for CSEET.

Application procedure

1. Go to https://smash.icsi.edu/

2. Click on registration for CSEET

3. A new page will be opened and click on the documents and click proceed

4. Fill in all required information, be careful to fill your email id and mobile number.

5. A unique identification number will be displayed on the screen, take note of it, it also will be send to your mobile number and email id. Without this unique number you will not be able to download the admit card.

6. Proceed and upload the documents in the proper format. Only JPG format will be supported with less than 2MB size.

7. Preview the application and check it thoroughly.

8. Proceed to confirm application

9. Select payment mode. Be careful not to select the challan mode, as you may have take printout and go to Canara Bank for payment. You can select Bill desk here.

10. On successful payment, your receipt will be displayed, you need to save it.

CSEET REGISTRATION FEE

The CS Executive entrance test registration fee is Rs 1000 per student per appearance. ICSI is also provided fee concessions for the applicants who belongs to different categories of applicants. If the candidate is opting to use the concession, they should have the necessary certificate for the same.

CSEET EXAM PATTERN

There will not be any negative marking for CSEET. The Exam pattern is originally divided into two parts, Computer Based Test and Vivo Voice, but due to Covid constraints, the vivo voice stand suspended and replaced with listening and presentation skills.

The computer based exam pattern will be as follows

1. The exam will be computer based, only in windows operating system laptop or desktop.

2. The total marks for the test will be 200 marks

3. Total time available for the test is 120 minutes ( two hours)

4. Total number of questions will be 140

5. There will be four subjects, divided into 50 marks each.

6. Each paper will be containing 20 questions of 1 mark and 15 questions of 2 marks.
