CSEET Registration process

Cseet registration process

  1. Open www.icsi.edu

  2. Open onlineservices

  3. Click on cseet registration

  4. Now here on documents please click on photo, signature, DOB proof – SSLC certificate, PLUS two hall ticket, if appearing, if passed, certificate, Aadhar card copy. Photo should be in JPG format and should not exceed 50KB size, and signature you can make on a white paper and take a photo, format JPG and size limit is 20 kb. Others can be scanned in pdf format.

  5. If all documents are there with you, please press proceed for registration

  6. If you want to reduce the size of the photo or sign you can do that through, www.compress.com or www.lovepdf.com. photo to pdf conversions also can be done there

CSEET -CS executive entrance test is the first step for the elite career of Company Secretaries. Company Secretary is considered as one of such course, where the student should love the course to get qualified. If a student is opting for this course, as a side course, as everybody recommends it or somebody did it, do not do that mistake, as this is not an academic qualification , this is professional qualification where the student need to be passionate about the course.

Many of the students have lot of doubts about the course, which are already answered through various articles. In this article we are trying to understand when and how the registration need to be done for CSEET.

Last date of registration: 15th of the prior month of registration ( it is better to register before 10th, to get an opportunity for correction of mistakes and also to avoid last minute rush)

Month of Examinations are normally January, May, July and November.

Now let us try to understand how the registration need to be done.

Step 1: For the ICSI CSEET registration, visit the website of the ICSI – www.icsi.edu, or click on the CSEET registration link

Step 2:

Click on online services and in the drop down list that appears, click on “Register for CSEET”.

If your are smash.icsi portal, click on register for CSEET link on top of the page.

Step 3: Then click on the button “proceed to CSEET registration”. Ensure that you have your latest photo in JPG format and also the signature. Signature can be done on white paper and photo in JPG format can be taken.  Ensure that the name of the file in continuous format like “mrxphoto” and not “mr x photo” or ‘mr-x_photo”.

Step 4:

A comprehensive form will appear before you on the screen. It will ask you to fill the basic details. Be careful in filling all the details and then click “next”.

Please note that PIN code is must and try to fill full information.

Step 5:

After you fill all the details, a unique ID will be generated which will be displayed right after you click ‘next’, note the Unique ID for future reference purposes. Then again click on the ‘next’ button.

Unique id should be noted down, and this is the registration number for exam, take a screen shot and also write down somewhere.

Step 6:

After the basic details tab, another tab named ‘fee details’ will open up. It will display the fee. Click on ‘next’.

Please check the fee, the fee is increased from July 2022 attempt, it is 1500.

Step 7:

Next step is the uploading of CSEET registration documents. The next page will ask the candidate to upload a photograph, a signature, and other qualification certificates. 

If you are not able to upload or complete look for any caution messages on the screen.

Step 8:

A preview of your whole application will open up in the next page. Carefully peruse through the page and ensure that all details have been filled correctly.

Step 9:

Then click on ‘confirm application’.

Step 10:

The next step is the payment process. Choose the relevant payment gateway and make the payment of the CSEET registration fees. The CSEET fees structure is such that candidates are required to make a payment of Rs. 1500 per appearance. Select only Billdesk gateway and select the payment method, either debit card, credit card, netbanking etc.

Step 11:

Upon successful payment, a unique transaction id will be generated. Note that ID for future reference purpose as it is a proof of successful payment from your side.

Step 12:

Then click on ‘proceed’. A receipt will be displayed, please save it for your records and future purpose. You also can save to your email this receipt, as you may not get this once more.

Congratulations! After this, you will be a registered candidate for the CSEET examinations. You will be sent a confirmation message on your registered mail id and mobile number that you provided in the basic details form. The schedule for your CSEET examinations will also be intimated to you via that mail id and mobile number.

Certain Guidelines Issued by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India

  1. The maximum file size uploaded shall be of 2 mb.

  2. Student photo file size – between 20 kb to 50 kb.

  3. Student signature file size – between 10 kb to 20 kb
